TALK: "Voyages in the Arctic" (by FoE Scotland)

Event with wildlife artist Darren Rees
 
Darren has travelled extensively in the Arctic and will talk about how he has seen the impact of climate change in the Arctic through melting sea ice and the effect this is having on polar bears and other species in the area.  His talk will be accompanied by video footage and his art work featuring polar bears, icebergs, walruses and other scenery from the area will also be on display.
 
Darren's work has attracted much attention. His large canvases have been runners-up for the prestigious GMAC Art Award and category winner in the inaugural Wildlife Artist of the Year Awards.
